Instructor Bio's
Michele Stelling, RYT

Michele is a registered yoga instructor who's teaching style combines her love of yoga and spirituality with 12 years of experience in the physical therapy profession.  She also has a BA in Psychology and has studied metaphysics and spiritual philosophy for many years, which has become her life-long passion. Her intention is to assist others in becoming more conscious of their own inner wisdom through balancing mind/body/Spirit, in allowing their natural well-being to flow, and in discovering a sense of personal empowerment.

Debra Zarnay, E-RYT 500

Debbie has been teaching yoga since 1994, studying BKS Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga. Debbie spent 36 years in the dance industry before becoming an Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer in 1995. Having a ballet background, a love for yoga, and being a Personal Trainer, Deb developed Zarnay Yoga to further enhance her students' flexibility and balance.

She began her teacher training program in 2001 for the RYT200 level and continues to train teachers in NH and MA.

Marsha Pointer

Marsha brings her intuitive coaching and healing techniques enhanced by 30 years of meditation practice to our Center. She is a Reiki Master, has a B.A. in Psychology, and has practiced Yang style tai chi and chi gung for 7 years.

Laura Alavosus, RYT

Laura has been practicing yoga since 2001, and teaching since 2006. She received her teacher training at Zarnay Yoga Institute, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Laura began teaching from a desire to share with others the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits she receives from the practice of yoga. She teaches Hatha yoga, but is especially interested in the Anusara style with its focus on anatomical alignment and a heart-centered attitude. Laura practices with joy and compassion, and invites students to develop awareness of their bodies and spirits with laughter and grace. 

Barbara Scott

Barbara took Callanetics during a six week visit in 2005 with her daughter Taryn, who teaches Callanetics in Tanzania. Barbara started as a fill-in Callanetics instructor for Deb Zarnay in 2006 and enjoyed it so much that she took over 2 regular classes a week in 2007.  A student of yoga for the past six years, Barbara is currently enrolled in the Zarnay Yoga Teacher Training program; she will have her Yoga Instructor Certification in June, 2008.

Barbara, an artist, works in Pastel and Oil. She is a member of several art associations and participates in local art shows. Her work can be viewed at BarbaraScottArt.com.

Kristen Wilson

Kristen has 30 years of dance experience and education; having been both student and teacher throughout those years.  Ballet was her first love, then it grew to encompass all forms of dance from African tribal dance to Ballroom and Contemporary. Her passion for dance led her to Belly Dancing and her teaching style is a fusion combining many forms of dance, leading to improved muscle tone, flexibility, and grace....and it's fun!   

Suzy Santay
Suzy is a well-known and very experienced fitness instructor who teaches throughout the Southern NH region. She received her AFAA primary certification in 1995 and she holds certifications in Stott Pilates, Body Bar, spinning, resist-a-ball, bosu, and Yoga. She balances teaching with corporate flight attending, and is the proud mom of two daughters.
Taryn Siddique

Taryn is a former ballet dancer who began to teach group classes in dance at the age of 17. She began practicing yoga in 2001 and completed Debbie Zarnay's RYT 200 hour training program in 2006. She has been teaching since then in the States and also in Tanzania in East Africa. She has also studied under various instructors in Africa who have trained in India and Thailand.

   
Joanne Keaney

Joanne instructs the Nia Jam at the Center. Nia is a body-mind-spirit fitness and lifestyle practice. Through expressive movement—The Body's Way—Nia empowers people to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Joanne is a massage therapist whose office is in the same building as the Triad Center.

Nancy Fulmore

Nancy is a certified yoga instructor who received her certification from the Zarnay Yoga Institute.   Nancy is a nurse who's gentle style and caring nature come through in her teaching.
